Liberal Children of Conservative Parents

I wanted to highlight a very unique group that I am offering and provide some clarification for its intended purpose. 

This group is for anyone who may be struggling with family members that hold political views that are more conservative than their own. While the title is aimed at those who are children in of conservative parents, this group is a welcoming space for anyone who is struggling with a family member's political preference.

This group is a process group and would be covering the topics outlined below. This group is NOT a space for direct political discussion (i.e. we will not be discussing the nuances of political events) but rather a space to discuss the relational impacts of holding vastly different views from those we love. 

Topics include:

• The Emotional Impact of Political Disagreement 

• Practicing Limit Setting and Self-Care

• Finding Compassion and Understanding Across Political Divides

• Unlearning Family Narratives and Creating Your Own Identity

• Healing Family Relationships After a Political Conflict

• And any other topics agreed upon by the group

Proposed day/time: Sundays 5-6pm (please let me know in your inquiry if this does not work for you as well as what days/time would work with your schedule)

Price: $60 a session

Where: Online, open to anyone in California!

This group will be ongoing! Topics are structured where they can be built upon one another but also engaged in individually/sporadically. Each session will be an hour, unless the group collectively agrees they would like for it to be longer than that to afford more time for conversation.
